  • Python For Loops - W3Schools
Python For Loops A for loop is used for iterating over a sequence (that is either a list, a tuple, a dictionary, a set, or a string) This is less like the for keyword in other programming languages, and works more like an iterator method as found in other object-orientated programming languages
  • Python For Loops - GeeksforGeeks
Python for loops are used for iterating over sequences like lists, tuples, strings and ranges A for loop allows you to apply the same operation to every item within the loop
  • ForLoop - Python Software Foundation Wiki Server
There are two ways to create loops in Python: with the for-loop and the while-loop for loops are used when you have a block of code which you want to repeat a fixed number of times The for-loop is always used in combination with an iterable object, like a list or a range

  • Python for Loop: A Beginner’s Tutorial - Dataquest
To create a Python for loop, you start by defining an iteration variable and the iterable object you want to loop through The iteration variable temporarily holds each item from the iterable during each loop Then, inside the loop, you specify the actions you want to perform using this variable
